“Stakeholder Meeting in Spain: Discussing Gender Equity with Expert Antonio Poleo”

Another stakeholder meeting was held in Spain to present the project “Schools for Gender Equity”. The meeting, organized by AIIJ, brought together six participants, including professionals from AIIJ, students from the University of Málaga and the University of Frankfurt, and the distinguished social worker Antonio Poleo. Antonio is an expert in peace education, conflict resolution, gender equality and school mediation.

During the event, Antonio Poleo led an engaging session on gender equity and women's empowerment, sharing his extensive knowledge and training the participants. The discussion highlighted the importance of addressing gender equity from an early age, an aspect Antonio emphasized due to his many years of professional experience in the field.

Before the conclusion of the meeting, one of the professionals from AIIJ presented the “Schools for Gender Equity” project to Antonio Poleo who found it to be highly relevant and impactful. He expressed that the project aligns with his personal and professional mission and values. Given his expertise, Antonio offered to collaborate further, demonstrating his commitment to contributing his knowledge to advance on this topic.
