“Connecting with the European Parliament: A Virtual Session with Greek MEPs”

On the 14th of March 2024, our school organised an online session with two Greek Members of the European Parliament from the SYRIZA party. The main motivation behind it was to talk with them about the work they do in the European Parliament and more specifically about the role of the European Parliament Presidency and the way in which it influences the decision making process of the European Parliament. At the end of the meeting we informed them about our participation in the Erasmus project and our interest in the European Union in general. Both members of parliament were very enthusiastic about our school’s participation in an Erasmus project. They also seemed very well informed about it and they talked to us about its role in the educational policy of the European Union and how it promoted social cohesion and solidarity between the member states.
