Article about the Micro-story Contest in a Romanian local magazine

The contest aimed to get young people to reflect on the serious social problem of gender violence and aimed to discover talents and stimulate the creative imagination of students.
Through this contest we wanted high school students to become aware of the importance of active and empathetic participation in promoting gender equity and eradicating gender-based violence through the development of literary skills, critical thinking and creativity.
The contest was launched on March 8, and the micro-stories had to start with the phrase “she felt. This short story contest serves as a platform to educate young minds about the importance of equality and respect, encouraging them to challenge stereotypes and combat discrimination against women. As a safe space for creative expression, students find the strength to share their perspectives and experiences, building empathy and solidarity. The expansion of this initiative promotes a culture of inclusion and activism, equipping the next generation with tools to create a fairer and fairer society. By embracing the main themes of the Contest, we light the way to a future in which each individual is valued.
